Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi, the National President of Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA) has congratulated President Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court and called on the oppositions to unite with Mr President and salvage Nigeria from its current hardship.
Speaking to newsmen in his Abuja head office in response to the Supreme Court verdict that affirmed the victory of President Tinubu as a duly elected president and dismissed the case brought to the Court against Tinubu’s victory by Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, respectfully Amb. Majidadi called for unity among all parties to help Nigeria out of its current predicaments.
“I wish to once again congratulate President Tinubu on his victory at the apex court and equally call on Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and all other oppositions to realize that the legal battle is over and now is time to join hands with the current administration and give their contributions towards making Nigeria great and rescuing Nigerians from the present economic hardship, insecurity that has bedeviled the country, ” Said Majidadi.
Commenting on the Supreme Court verdict as an elder statesman and politician, Amb. Aminu said in every judgement of the court, there must be contrary reactions but what is most important is Nigeria which should be the interest of all.
“Going by the court’s processes from the lower to the apex court, one can say Nigeria’s democracy is growing and graduation we shall get there. Being it the final stage of the legal battle, all that feel aggrieved should for the interest of the country drop their grievances and support the current administration to succeed. And the victorious must embrace and work with all Nigerians to move the country forward. “
“Nigeria should be our interests all and Nigeria must succeed Insha Allah. ” Majidadi concluded.
