The Director General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has called on Nigerian Christians to embrace the spirit of love, unity, and brotherhood during this year’s Christmas celebrations. In a festive message, Onilu urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for a renewed sense of unity and collective purpose.

Onilu emphasized that Nigeria’s journey as a nation has been long and challenging, and now, more than ever, it is crucial to preserve the bonds that hold the country together. He reminded citizens that Christmas symbolizes the love God has for humanity, demonstrated through the birth of Jesus Christ.

“This is a time to reflect on the virtues of love and unity that Christmas represents, and to renew our commitment to peace and brotherhood,” Onilu said. “If we all embrace selflessness and care for one another, we can make significant strides toward national progress and the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.”

The NOA Director General further urged Nigerians to demonstrate the selflessness and compassion that Christmas embodies, by praying for the well-being of their neighbors and the prosperity of the nation. He stressed that a united and caring nation would foster national development and social stability.

Onilu concluded his message by wishing the Christian community a joyful and peaceful Christmas, urging Nigerians to remain law-abiding and harmonious during the festive period.
