Controversial American rapper Kanye West has claimed that fellow musician Jay-Z is planning to assassinate him following his recent social media outbursts.
West made the allegation on Wednesday in a series of posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, after making controversial statements about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s children.
In one of his now-deleted posts, West alleged that Beyoncé used in-vitro fertilisation, IVF, to conceive her seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.
Shortly after deleting the post, West suggested that Jay-Z had influenced his decision to take it down.
“I know Jay-Z is driving around like damn, I have to kill Kanye,” the rapper wrote in one of his posts.
West further claimed that Jay-Z would be emotionally affected by such an act but implied that it was inevitable.
“I know it’s gonna hurt Jay-Z to kill me, but somebody’s gotta do it,” he added.
In another controversial statement, West suggested that a different group might be blamed for his potential death.
“Plus, I don’t want the Jews getting credit for my murder,” he wrote.
Neither Jay-Z nor Beyoncé has responded to West’s allegations at the time of this report.
