The President of the Al-Mushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA), Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the organization, Ambassador Majidadi commended the resilience, unity, and determination of citizens despite prevailing economic and social challenges confronting the nation. He described the 65th Independence Anniversary as a moment of reflection on the sacrifices of Nigeria’s founding fathers, who laid the foundation for the sovereignty enjoyed today.
Ambassador Majidadi urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in upholding the values of patriotism, peace, and accountability, stressing that these virtues are vital in building a prosperous and united nation. He further called on leaders at all levels to demonstrate sincerity of purpose in governance by prioritizing the welfare of the people and safeguarding national resources.
The AITA President reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to promoting transparency, good governance, and accountability as instruments for national development. He enjoined citizens to continue to contribute positively to the country’s progress, emphasizing that nation-building is a collective responsibility.
