The National President of the Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA), Ambassador Aminu Majidadi, called on Nigerians to reflect on the lessons of 2024 and approach the year 2025 with hope, optimism, and unwavering commitment to progress.
In a New Year message released on Wednesday,Ambassador Majidadi expressed confidence that 2025 holds great promise for Nigeria, citing the efforts of both the federal and state governments to drive reforms and reposition the country for greater development. He highlighted the revolutionary strides being made to bring about positive change, emphasizing that the new year would usher in brighter prospects for both the state and the nation as a whole.
“The year 2025 holds immense potential for us all,” Majidadi stated. “The federal and state governments are making significant strides to reposition our country, and it is upon these efforts that we must build a brighter, more prosperous future.”
He also underscored the importance of unity and peace in achieving sustainable development and fostering national prosperity. According to Majidadi, a unified nation is key to overcoming the challenges ahead and realizing the full potential of Nigeria.
“Unity, peace, and stability are the cornerstones of progress,” he said. “As we move forward into 2025, it is essential that we stay committed to these values, ensuring that we all work together to build a secure and prosperous Nigeria.”
The AITA President called on all Nigerians to continue their active participation in the country’s development, noting that national progress depends on both individual and collective efforts. He encouraged citizens to remain dedicated to upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance in all aspects of life.
“Let us take the lessons of 2024 to heart and remain steadfast in our pursuit of peace, security, and sustainable development,” Majidadi added. “Together, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come.”
