The National President of the Al-Mushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA), Ambassador Aminu Majidadi, has expressed profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Commissioner, Olatunji Disu, over the tragic loss of his son, Kaka Disu, in a fatal auto crash.
Kaka Disu, who recently completed his one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) assignment at the Ministry of Tourism, Abuja, lost his life on Monday night in an accident that has plunged the family into mourning.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Ambassador Majidadi conveyed deep sympathies to the grieving family, describing the loss as a monumental tragedy. He commended Commissioner Disu for his commitment to duty despite the personal pain, noting his recent condolence visit to CSP Sambo, the Divisional Police Officer of the Ushafa Division, who also experienced a family bereavement.
Ambassador Majidadi prayed for the peaceful repose of Kaka Disu’s soul and strength for the family to endure this irreparable loss. “It is a grievous moment for the family, friends, and colleagues of the Commissioner. We stand with the family during this challenging period and pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear this great loss,” he said.
He further called on the public and the police community to rally around Commissioner Disu and his family during this trying time, emphasizing the need for support and collective comfort.
