The Ogun State Police Command has launched a search for a missing woman, Asafa Halimat, who was last seen in Sagamu on February 13, 2025.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Omolola Odutola, the command urged the public to provide any useful information that could help locate the 23-year-old.

“Asafa Halimat, a 23-year-old female, was last seen at about 0720 hours on February 13, 2025, when she left her residence for work at Overcomer Computer Centre, opposite Magistrate Court, Sagamu,” the statement read.

The missing woman is described as being five feet tall, fair in complexion, and fluent in both English and Yoruba.

The police have advised anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Sagamu Police Division or call 08028377520.

“We urge members of the public to come forward with any details that could assist in finding her. No information is too small,” Odutola stated.

The police have also called on residents of Sagamu and neighbouring areas to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity that may be linked to Halimat’s disappearance.

Authorities emphasised the importance of community support in ensuring her safe return and encouraged people to share the missing person alert widely.

“Our priority is to reunite Asafa Halimat with her family as soon as possible. We appreciate any assistance from the public,” Odutola added.

The Ogun State Police Command reassured the public that efforts are ongoing to locate Halimat and urged cooperation in the investigation.
