American music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly considering legal action against rapper Kanye West following his recent controversial social media remarks about their children.

Earlier, Kanye West, in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, made claims regarding the conception of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir.

“I said Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s kids are retarded. Let’s make the hot water boiling hot or like people say boiling hot (six),” West wrote in the since-deleted post.

Sources close to the couple revealed that they found West’s remarks highly offensive and are weighing their legal options in response.

“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter,” a source told Page Six.

The couple, who are known for maintaining a high level of privacy regarding their children, were reportedly shocked by West’s statement.

Although West removed the post, he later clarified that he did not do so out of remorse but due to external pressure.
